This is the first weekend that I have not spent doing open houses, showing homes, and/or “real-estating” most of the daylight hours. I love spending my days this way, and it honestly does not feel like work.
I am still working, just a little differently. For one thing, I am spending more time in my home office. That does allow me to spend more time with my dogs and cats. 🙂 I miss the interaction with the fun people in my office.
My sons are figuring out how they are going to complete their semesters of college and high school respectively. It has not been a transition to go from two people living here to three, in fact, the company is nice. I enjoy hearing the boys visit, and occasionally bicker.
I did write an offer on a home that I had shown last week. I am also preparing for three listings to enter the market this week. There have been some random telephone calls on listings. A lot of questions. A lot of questions that I am not sure anyone has the answers to.
I am continuing to workout, although it is now at home, alone. Jazzercise on Demand has a 14-day free trial right now, and I strongly encourage everyone to give it a try! The ten-minute stretch may become a part of my routine from here on out. It does feel nice to take a “stretch break”. I might not have allowed myself that otherwise.
Stay safe, informed, and most importantly, smile (even if you don’t want to)…it will make you feel better.
All my best, Melissa
